Bart’s Network Boot Disk is a DOS based boot disk which allows for connecting to network shares on Windows machines.
One of the first laptops I had access to lacked a proper CD drive. As such I used Bart’s NBD to access the OS install media over the network via a share.
At the time Bart’s lacked the drivers needed for my old Megahertz MJ10BT PCMCIA network card so I put together my own set of driver plugins for use with Bart’s Network Boot Disk. You can find them listed below or on Bart’s driver page.
Megahertz was later purchased by 3Com, who was later purchased by HP. This driver may work for similar cards under the 3Com or HP brands.
Megahertz XJ10BT/CC10BT Driver Plugin #1
This driver plugin includes point enabler version 1.30 which is smaller then the newer version but doesn’t support as many PCMCIA card controllers.
